The HOOP 2 – Summer 2018

The renovation of a second shipping container will be hosted by Hopewell UMC this summer.  It will be constructed into two separate rooms to be used to create jobs for the Mosaic parents.

The HOOP – Summer 2016

Over the summer of 2016, a shipping container (the HOOP) was transformed into a kitchen and a meeting room and filled with donations before begin sent to South Africa.  The container was added to the Mosaic Paarl Community Center which already consisted of eight shipping containers.

The HOOP added a much needed kitchen to the Mosaic community center located near Paarl, South Africa.  It is used to cook food for 160 preschool age children in the Ma’s for Wellington program and 100 children in the Mosaic after school program.  Learn more about this project.
