Naledi Christian Academy
Anna (26.2), Lilli (13.1), and Tatum (6.2) Griffin will run for their cause on November 30th at the Las Vegas Marathon. Will you help get our South African School Project over the finish line?
While our physical classrooms are now complete and serving 200 children, we are in need of trained teachers and STEM curriculum to truly serve these children and create the opportunities that can change their fate.
The HOOP
Helping Orphans Out of Poverty
HOOP is also the Afrikaans word for HOPE.
In May 2016, a 40 foot shipping container was dropped off at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Downingtown, PA.
The container was renovated over the summer and shipped to Paarl Valley, South Africa on October 6, 2016.
The inside of the container was renovated by volunteers to become a kitchen and a meeting/exam room.
A mission trip team from Hopewell UMC will go down to South Africa in November to finish the shipping container by adding windows & doors, installing cabinets & a ceiling and building interior walls.
